YES!!!

Tears in my eyes when Rogers left in the 8th!
Yankees in 4??? COME ON JEFF, BELIEVE!!!!
That was one of the best performances I've seen.
Ernie Harwell in the booth brought back so many memories. Waking up hearing Dad shaving listening to WJR. Going to Tigers Stadium for a game every year. Wow. What a night.

A Michigan weekend. Sun no clouds, 65 degrees. The trees on fire. Cider by the side of the road. A trip to the apple orchard. Tigers in the playoffs, Michigan trouncing State. Where else can you find this?

A SoCal weekend. Sun no clouds, 75 degrees. The trees still green and blooming. Corn on the cob smothered in whipped butter, lemon juice and chile from a street vendor pushing a cart on the side of the road. A trip to In N' Out. Dodgers in the playoffs with no one speaking English. USC trouncing Washington with no one really caring. Just glad they could sit in the stands and work on their tan. Where else can you find this?

Flipping between the UM beat down and the Tigers mele made me miss the Great Lake State. I'm pulling for the Padres to make a comeback (sorry Joel) and then the rematch of '84. And it would make a great little rivalry between Stu and I.
