jardinera jardinera

Today is off to a good start with my being able to pick our first three carrots! Part of me is proud, and sometimes part of me thinks, "after all the time i spend out here, this is it?!" it still amazes me that if we plant this tiny, almost non-existent seed, this is what becomes of it.

and thats my over-spiritual moment for today.

(oh, and don't forget that tiny tomato).

I know it's a lot of work, but why not take what you've grown and use it as inspiration to pilot a brand new Christian animated DVD series that mixes mildly serious Bible story lines with wildly laughable children's hijinx, and get this, why not even use your vegetables as the main characters, but just give them pseudo-Bible names. Even throw in some wacky silly songs to boot and a catchy sing songy theme song and turn your little garden there into a multi-million dollar brain child. I can see a market for it. Just my Tuesday morning ramblings.

i like what i hear. i think i'll talk with my manager. gives gardening a whole new meaning. maybe they could even have simple names like bob or larry--which would be comical paired with the fact that they are actually vegetables.
