Back 2 Back

Over the weekend the Komets claimed the Turner Cup for the second straight year. Muskegon didn't even have a chance. Way to go guys. Time will tell if this another two cup season for me. Go Wings!!

Seriously, like it's a stretch to say anybody outside of Detroit in the US even cares about Hockey; so to waste our time with bush league minor puck drama is pretty sad. C'mon, Wes. You're an hour from INDY, a couple from West Laf and Bloomington - get out and see some real sports, Bryant Gumble style.

That's like telling me that you stood next to Mindy Merkling in the lunch line, when you could have been SITTING with Becky Ketola at her table (with Jake connections). Please. That's Mindy, pre Shinead O'connor, but that was hot too.

alright, alright. but consider that the K's have a 57 year history in Fort Wayne, the people here love this team and support it like none other. this city isn't big enough for the big leagues, even though the NBA was founded here. Remember we gave Detroit the Pistons!! This is the #1 minor league sports city in the country according to Sporting News. How does "Yes We Can Jeff" get off with dissing a blue-collar community supported team in favor of corporate sponsored "mega-teams".

don't even try throwing the poly card in my face. Minor , Major league whatever, they're both getting pimped out by corporate leviathans. FW Komets.....does Taco Bell and Comcast ring a bell? oh, blue collar, right.

And if I can recall, your reference to Sporting News is to a "local, home-grown newspaper." No corporate there.

C'mon Arlen Specter..you can do better than that.

Dude we had the best ice cream place in michigan in 2008

Doozies Ice cream Palace in Mt.P.

I'm not sure what I'd rather have minor league hockey or ice cream , both are pretty family oriented.

Total joke. Fort Wayne is so solid. I love spending time down there --Still waiting for the big ZOO weekend. Great food, spirits, churches, and all-around generally REAL people.
