Our Deepest Sympathies
Abigail and I would simply like to tell Stephanie, Jeff, and the boys how much we love and mourn with you at the loss of your father and grandfather. Our hearts ache as we think of you this evening and wish we were closer to sit with you in the time of grief. I was only with your father on a few occasions, but in those times I admired his strength and sincerity. We love you all and send our prayers.

Steph, Jeff, the boys and family, our prayers and hearts go out to you at this time of sadness. Dr. G. was a tremendous husband, father, friend and man. He made a big impact on all those who knew him or knew of him. He had a presence about him that seemed to bring joy to everyone. Lena and I are here to support you in our prayers and anyway else we can support you. We love you and will see you soon.
Dr. G was an amazing person! Kind generous, full of wisdom. I remember the first time I met him, after he'd just given Jeff Steph, and me tickets to the Lions game. We got to watch Barry break the 2000 yd. mark and afterwards I lost my keys (go figure). Later back at the house as he was feeding us, (he always did when you were at his house) he pulled me aside and gently taught me how to keep a spare key in my wallet. I don't know why I still don't do that. Like Dad said, he had a way of making every person he met feel special. We love you guys!!!
