Unbelievable final two games! My nails are nubs. As I texted to Benny, I felt like we should all be in the Karabelski family room reliving old times. I beamed with D-town pride at school saying, "Lastnight, we brought the Cup back to Hockeytown!" The SoCal youth seemed to care less and they donned their Laker gear. All I want to know is, did Vlady make a parade appearance and hoist the Cup in his wheelchair? Was there a more emotional moment in Wings history than that back in 97?
I think about Vlady almost everyday as a constant source of inspiration. I even watched a couple of games, though I missed the finale. Today at the farmer's market i saw a guy wearing a Zuckey Lake Tavern t-shirt; I went up to him, fist out, tapped knucks and said, 'Stanley's back!'
Lord Stanley has come back home. Mom DVR'd the last game for me so I will keep in inventory if anyone wants to relive the golden moment.
Go Wings - back to back.

Bring that replay of the finale to the lake and we'll rekindle Stanley along with a few Molson Canadiens.
I heard Kwame Kilpatrick got some applause when he showed up. Oooohh
