Last night Abigail was honored in Azusa for her 8 years of service and ministry at the Homework House. It was a wonderful and memorable event where students, friends, family, and staff shared touching stories of what Abigail has meant to them. The mayor and city council were also in attendance and presented her with a special city proclamation detailing all that she has meant for the city of Azusa. I was hoping for the keys to the city, but he didn't go that far. For the event, I scoured over hours of old video tapes and photos and put together a little presentation for her as well. Abigail, we all stand amazed at what you have done for so many. Take a look...

Congrats Abigail....You have blessed so many! Enjoy the summer off!
Mom and I were honored to be able to attend this event. It was a very proud moment for us to see all the love poured out upon our daughter in law. She has made a tremendous difference in the lives of so many Azusa kids, some of whom came to the banquet to honor her. It was a incredible evening.
What a tear jerker! We really wish we could've been there to celebrate your good work in Azusa. We're really proud of your dedication to those kids, and to Gracie (who is lucky to have a mom who puts her family's needs first).
Jake I think you should've flown Jeff Sales in to sing "Thank you For Giving to the Lord" -
Job well done Abigail!!
You are amazing Abigail-I was blessed to work with you and learn from you!
Thanks. It has been a long journey that would not have been possible without the support of such loving family and friends.
Congratulations Abagail! What an awesome woman you have been in your community. May the seeds you have planted, watered and seen ripen become strong, sustaining young adults who pass the love you have given them on to others. An inspiration! We'll have to celebrate your journey at the lake this summer!
