You gotta love Noah!! Props to David for winning the pool and once again denying either a Gaines or a Lampi from winning our own Tourney Challenge. In light of the hottly debated immigration reforms I think we ought to reconsider for next year who is allowed in our bracket! And did Joel finally elude having to explain the mysterious J. Gleason entry for good!
Better Luck Next Year guys. Here are my predictions, lock em up!
Final Four: UNC, LSU, Ohio State, Memphis (if everyone stays)
Indiana will have a rough first year under Sampson, but watch out in two years when he starts getting those top Hoosier recruits back to Bloomington (We could've had Sean May, Josh McRoberts, and Greg Oden all playing next year)
Ohio State will win the Big Ten and might win it all, watch out for Greg Oden and Mike Connely out of Indy.
The Stache will move on to the NBA high first round pick and be a Dirk-like player.
Reddick will go low 1st round to 2nd round and phase out after 3 Hurley-like seasons.

yeah, that was a sweet game. I jumped on the gator band-wagon mid-way through the second half. Thanks for the lift dad. i haven't seen a college team that solid in a while. they reminded me of the Pistons. Un-slefish, team basketball, great defense. UCLA was simply out coached. They couldn't handle everything Donovan was throwing at them.
Florida was definitely the best team in the tourney. The Bruins are probably a 3 point shooter away from being right behind. Look for them to make another Final Four appearance and look for the SoCal Gaines crew to be at Pauly Pavilion next season for at least one game.
I agree that Noah was amazing on the boards and with blocks, but I got kind of sick of seeing his dreadlock dad in the stands.
My picks for next year... Florida should be there again if Noah, Brewer, and Green stay in school, LSU if they get an outside shot, same with UCLA, and then you gotta go with a longshot...Southern Illinois (the Selukies will shock the world). Outside shot goes to South Carolina (beat UM in the NIT) and the Washington Huskies.
My other pick for next year... a Gaines or Lampi better win the Tourney Challenge. Abigail almost came through this year, but the fellas were sheer disappointment. The Missouri duo (David and Joel) must be stopped, and we need the Gaines guys to leave the Big-10 bias behind and for the Lampi fellas to realize that Mateen's done waving the towel and the E. Lansing couch fires went out back in 2000. We gotta start picking with our heads, not our hearts. Just a little rant!

Jake, I luv ya man, but how about some respect. That's right, Tom IZZO is done. Sparties are done. I may of been the foolish bookee this year, but that statement is the dumbest thing I've heard since your SoCal boy OJ said "The glove don't fit." C'mon, Jake, you can do better than that. Just a rant.

You gotta love L.A.! I guarantee as soon as UCLA got outta the first round the order for a bunch of baby blue and gold car flags was put in; when they slipped into the sweet sixteen it was like "yeah, go ahead and make em"; when Gonzaga crashed putting them in the Elite 8 the So-Cali-s started getting out their credit cards; boom they're in the Final Four and half the city was flying flags from their Escalades and buying T-shirts from corner stands; in the Finals the parade is being planned:t-shirts, hats, flags and OHHH!! We got thrashed...the Goodwill gets an influx of UCLA B-Ball gear, and anyways we still got the Lakers errr Ducks errr NFL errr Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim uh...I hear the Dodgers might be good this year??
