how about: jeff making a turn-around from ignorant american to culturally suave in two minutes flat. . . priceless.
(jeff asked our waitress at baan thai how to say something in thai and she said, "i'm filipino." Ouch! When she returned he asked her how to say it in tagali. She was very impressed that he knew tagali was spoken in the philipines, they started speaking spanish together, etc. nice turn around, jeff.)
